Fairy Mountain National Forest Park is located in Wulong District, Chongqing, about 180–200 km from downtown Chongqing, with a travel time of around 3 hours by car.
Fairy Mountain is a national 5A-level attraction in China. It sits within the Wuling Mountains, with an average elevation of about 1,800 meters. The park has a forest coverage rate of 65% and features a mix of grasslands, forests, and lakes. Each season offers a different view, making it a year-round destination. It has also been recognized as one of “China’s Most Influential Forest Parks.”
Enter the park → Take the sightseeing train → Grassland (photos + interact with animals) → Walk along the most scenic road (photo stops and sightseeing) → Walk to the Horse Ranch Station → Take the train back to the entrance.
(Note: Walking from the grassland to the horse ranch is حوالي 3–4 km and takes about 1.5–2 hours. If you prefer less walking, consider Route 2.)
Enter the park → Take the sightseeing train → Grassland (photos + interact with animals) → Take the train → Horse Ranch → Walk back to Wave Road for photos (only a few hundred meters) → Walk back to the horse ranch → Take the train from the Horse Ranch Station back to the entrance.
