Guozigou Bridge is located in Huocheng County, Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang, China. It spans a canyon in the Tianshan Mountains and is known as one of the most beautiful highway bridges in the country. Tourists often come here to take photos.
The main span is 700 meters long, and the bridge deck stands up to 200 meters above the valley floor—about the height of a 66-story building—making it an impressive sight.
It connects Sayram Lake with the lavender fields of Huocheng. If you're driving, a classic route would be: Sayram Lake (overnight stay) → Guozigou Bridge → Huocheng lavender fields (best in mid to late June) → Yining.
