"Bazaar" simply means marketplace, and the Xinjiang International Grand Bazaar is one of the must-visit spots in Ürümqi.
It covers an area of 100,000 square meters and houses over 3,000 shops. Here, you can admire architecture with distinct Xinjiang characteristics, watch traditional Xinjiang song and dance performances, experience local customs, taste a wide range of Xinjiang cuisine, and shop for regional specialties. It's often called the "Window of Xinjiang."

The Xinjiang International Grand Bazaar is located in the Tianshan District (天山区) on Jiefang South Road (解放南路). To come here, take Metro Line 1 to Erdaoqiao Station (二道桥站) and use Exit C.
