Hello everyone, I'm Nancy, born in Sichuan, China. I majored in Thai and English teaching during my undergraduate and postgraduate studies. During my university years, I worked as a Chinese teaching assistant at the language institution under the Confucius Institute of the school. Since my undergraduate days, I have been working as an online private tutor, teaching students from kindergarten, primary school, junior high school, senior high school, university and even adult stages. My students mainly come from Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Hong Kong (China), Canada, the United Kingdom and other places. Currently, I work as a teacher at a domestic university, mainly engaged in language teaching.
I am good at combining exam preparation with basic ability in Chinese teaching. On the one hand, I focus on various Chinese proficiency tests such as HSK Level 1-6 and YCT. I systematically explain key knowledge related to the exams, including high-frequency vocabulary, grammar rules, listening skills, reading methods and writing points. Through targeted exercise training and mock exams, I help students get familiar with question types, master exam strategies and effectively improve their exam results. On the other hand, I also pay attention to daily conversation and Pinyin foundation teaching. Starting from Pinyin recognition and writing to lay a solid foundation, I design practical conversation scenarios based on daily vocabulary involved in the exams, so that students can not only cope with the exams but also have basic Chinese oral communication skills.
